Truck Posted February 18, 2023 Report Share Posted February 18, 2023 Since finding a truck with lockers is more difficult than those without (only found one in my area), I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate cost to install lockers in a non locked twin screw truck? Darryl&Rita Posted February 18, 2023 Report Share Posted February 18, 2023 Some housings can't have the needed parts added, too much steel in the way. Cheapest way would be salvage yard axle swap. Freshen everything while it's out and easy to work on, then slide it under. Asking pricing is too location dependant, as shop rates are different all over. A rebuilt center is not that expensive, but your open diff is not acceptable as a core so therefor you need to pay full price. Then plumbing and programming are more.
