Bill C
I am looking to purchase an enclosed carrier to attach to the rear of my Sprinter Travel Van. I would like it to store a cooler, inflatable kayak, etc. The interior height of Yakima EXO Swing Away System is 14.6 inches. Most well insulated 55-77 QT coolers are 18-19 inches high. I would rather not spend the money on larger storage units suitable for bikes, which cost 3x the amount. Suggestions?

Use the inflatable kayak to line the Swing Away and fill it with ice to be the cooler? Chad Heiser
I have a Let’s Go Aero covered rack that is fully enclosed with a hard sided clamshell like cover and it holds quite a bit of stuff. I have had it for at least eight years now and it has held up very well with no issues over that time. I will say it was not inexpensive, but the quality is very good.
