Twotoes
I am planning on going to DC for Memorial Day Weekend. Looking for camp ground recommendations. I have stayed at Cherry Hill once and may go back there but their prices have gone way up. I have a 43 foot diesel pusher so need a big rig site. Thanks in advance. k4rs
If you don't mind boondocking, you may want to look at Greenbelt National Park. https://www.nps.gov/gree/planyourvisit/campgroundreservations.htm We stayed there several years ago and found the spots to be quite large. Our 38 foot fifth wheel had room to spare. Safe Travels... bobsallyh
When we went to DC to visit, tour, ballgames, etc. we always used Bullrun Regional Park, near the Manassas battlefield. Electric and water at sites and onsite dump station. There is a Metro station nearby where you can park and head into DC. Worked well as there is virtually no public parking in the city.
