Combining pdf files

I'm wanting to combine several pdf documents into a single document.  I know Acrobat will do it.  Is there a free program which will do that?

I've used PDF995 in the past. It has a lot of capabilities.

I've used the online service at https://smallpdf.com/merge-pdf a few times, although I wouldn't recommend it for sensitive documents. For more secure offline use, I've had good results with https://www.starzsoft.com/pdf-converter/.

Another I have used for years is "Icecream PDF Split & Merge".  Easy to use.

Do you know if any of these pdf programs will separate a multi page pdf into separate files of each page and save them with a different name? I know you can do a virtual "print to pdf" print one page at a time and save it as a separate file. It just takes hours to do that with an 85 page document. Would be nice to find one that does it automatically.
