dblr
Henry are the springs that hold the head from flopping around anything special? Also the pin that goes thru to hold the spring in place can you get them anywhere or is that something special to the hitch? I had the front spring break and the right rear pin came out and is missing in action, the head flops around hitting the dog bones. Thanks for any info. 2017 River Stone Legacy 38MB 2001 T2000 Kenworth 2009 Smart Passion ET Junior hitch
jeffw
I have a spring in a bag at the truck (with the part # on the bag). Not sure when I'll get over to it, but I'll grab the part # next time I'm there. 2007 Volvo 780 Volvo D12D, 465hp, 1650 ft/lbs tq., ultrashift

phoenix2013
The pins are available from McMaster 10 for $7 bucks https://www.mcmaster.com/98306a381 I put these in the vise and grind down the end with the spring hole to about 1/8" thickness to allow for easier spring installment. The springs are available in any Ace hardware store, they have a spring assortment in their hardware section, it is distributed by Hillman part number #
