Lightning strikes RV in east TX!

Recommended Posts

We are currently on the road with our RV but I thought that I'd share this story from our home community. East TX experienced some really nasty thunderstorms in the very early morning hours of Monday. This is the local TV news report of what took place. Our home is on the northwest edge of the community.

I've never seen an RV lined with aluminum, aluminum skin-yes; although nothing will survive a direct lightning strike unharmed. Odds show one is more likely to be struck by lightening than winning the lottery.

They are very fortunate to survive.
