virginiasean
On a leg of our journey from Sam Fransisco to Yosemite we want to visit Lake Tahoe but don’t have much time maybe only one night stay. Could anyone recommend a good stop and RV park so we don’t go too far from our route but am close to a nice beach part of the lake.
Chad Heiser
I like Zephyr Cove on the east side of the lake. It isn’t in the town of Lake Tahoe though. It is somewhat off by itself just out of town. 2000 Kenworth T2000 w/ Cummins N14 and autoshift 2017 DRV Mobile Suite 40KSSB4 with factory mods, dealer mods and personal mods - now in the RV graveyard 2022 DRV Full House MX450 with customized floor plan 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo S (fits in the garage) 2016 Smart Car (fits in the garage or gets flat towed behind the DRV when the RZR is in the garage)My First Solar Install ThreadMy Second Solar Install Thread & Photos and Documents Related to the buildMy MX450's solar, battery and inverter system - my biggest system yet! chadheiser.com West Coast HDT Rally Website

Lou Schneider
Tahoe Valley Campground is near the junction of US 50 and Hwy 89 on the South Shore. It's a little pricy unless you're a Thousand Trails member and you'll have to drive a bit to get to a beach, but it's convenient to your through route.
