Al F
Be aware if you are in Newfoundland this week. The remnants of a hurricane will come by the eastern shore of Newfoundland bringing winds and rain on Sunday 7/15/18. Of course there are times when the remnants of a hurricane disrupt the nicer weather. Well at least the 7 weeks we were in NL in 2008 we had mostly good weather. Probably 75-80% of the days were rain free and not a lot of wind. The several days we were in St Johns, the highs were from 79-83*. The TV news was giving very strong warnings to the joggers, walkers, etc to drink plenty of water and watch out for heat stroke. Coming from Texas we thought that was pretty funny. Heat stroke in what we call nice cool 80* weather from the end of April to late October. Ever since our trip to NL I have watched the predicted path of the hurricanes going up the east coast of the USA and it seems like quite a few brush at least the eastern side of NL.
