BlueRoadBlogger Posted April 29, 2018 Report Posted April 29, 2018 Wow. What happened to the time. Seems like only yesterday we were counting down to out full-time start date and before we knew it..we were presented with a different agenda. We sold our 33RKS Catalina 5er and the great 1998 Dodge Cummins in 2015 and thought our escape was forever forgotten. Now we re back on track with a 2018 Grand Design 2500RL. It has taken us some time, but the last 7 years have given us much more insight an a greater understanding of our future and current direction to get us there. Glad to be back and looking forward to getting reacquainted.
bigjim Posted April 29, 2018 Report Posted April 29, 2018 Congrats! I hope you have paid attention to a lot of issues some of us have had so you will be better prepared. As cool as this is there can be issues and it can make it easier if you are forwarned.

Just as we were finalizing our plans, our children needed some serious support in adulting. It has taken 7 years, but we are back in a place where we can start planning to go on the road at least half time for the next several years and if the economy holds together, we will be able to do our inters in the south, southwest areas. We just picked up our Grand Design 2500RL this week and will send the summer in the tri-state area of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
Kirk W Posted May 1, 2018 Report Posted May 1, 2018 Life does sometimes have a way of changing our plans but it is great that you have not given up your dream! Seems like our kids do have a way of making bumps in the road, but as one whose children are now passing 50, I have also discovered that they can come through for us when we need them as well. Keep living the dream and join us here often, Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... Now seasonal travelers.Kirk & Pam's Great RV Adventure
