Mystroh
Has anyone stayed at the 3 oaks and a pine rv resort in New Orleans. Is it safe, clean, easy access to the French Qtr ? Does it have a shuttle to French quarter or good Uber service? Are there any parks near New Orleans you would suggest with easy access to the French Qtr? Thanks, Kelly

chiefneon
Howdy! We recently wanted to stay at Bayou Signet State Park. When I called to check they stated that the dump station is stil closed and out of order. The RV site do not have sewer hookups. Roy & Ann
We stayed there last May. It is an old FEMA park converted to an RV park. It has a locked gate. People were friendly and helpful. All spots were wide and easy back in. There is a bus stop right across the street that takes you into downtown. We have a large pickup, so parking is a problem for us. While not the greatest neighborhood I never felt it was not safe. 2005 New Horizons 36ft 5th/upgrades-Generator, Disk Brakes, Solar Package, Inverter. and more2008 Ford F450 crew cab DRW K3ROYhttp://www.roanontheroad.blogspot.com/
Mystroh
Thanks to everyone for your feedback and ideas. We will be coming off a boondocking stretch so we are looking for something with full hookups and close to the french quarter. Sounds like 3 oaks and a pine is an option but are interested in hearing about any other parks in the area.
Al F
For $100 + a night you can be within easy walking distance of Bourbon Street & the French Quarter at this RV Park. For other places try RV Park Reviews. I have heard the KOA in New Orleans has free shuttle service.
