GlennWest Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 Ok, guys. Call me lazy or what. It's Easter Sunday and I don't want to pull a tire. As some know my Teton has a Frankenstein axle. 7k with 8k hubs/brakes. It has 16" wheels. I do know it takes a 7/8" socket on studs. Are they 1/2", 9/16", 5/8"? I was going to order disk brake conversion and only find 9/16 or 5/8 studs 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1

GlennWest Posted April 16, 2017 Author Report Posted April 16, 2017 oh I measured my spare tire. Didn't think of that earlier. The hole is 9/16". That would be 1/2" studs? 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
Mark and Dale Bruss Posted April 16, 2017 Report Posted April 16, 2017 The stud should fill the hole. If the hole is 9/16", then that is the stud size. GlennWest Posted April 16, 2017 Author Report Posted April 16, 2017 Sorry everyone. I went over my Teton manual and the 2003 sales brochure and I do in fact have 3 7k axles with 3 3/8" wide brake drums instead of standard 2", not the 8k drums like some years use. So all I need to do is order 7k with 1/2" studs. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
