RV_
I have Pro for good reasons and they are more important today. I will be waiting a few months to let the first wave of issues get resolved and then jump in. My main systems are all Pro systems. Excerpt: "Microsoft is about to release a big upgrade to Windows 10. If you're running Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise, you can wait a few months before you install this version. Here's how." To see how easy it is just go to the very short Ed Bott article here: http://www.zdnet.com/article/windows-10-tip-temporarily-delay-the-anniversary-update/?ftag=TRE17cfd61&bhid=19724681974700635514865380622813
Mark and Dale Bruss
Good to know. Since I have four PCs to update here, I would prefer to download a USB Drive update instead of eating 3GB four times or even more when the connection is flaky. Corrected 3GB for 3MB. Bill B
Mark - 3 GB - about the same size as the original 32 bit - Holy ---- Batman "And that update is a big one: roughly 3GB in size. And although setup should be quick (less than 30 minutes) on reasonably fast hardware," Time to turn off auto for a bit. There goes this months data. RV_
I checked my Pro versions to defer just until I know it has no major bugs. I will be going to the full upgrade by the end of the week or next most likely. I can check my Venue 11 Pro as I will leave it to update but not my Surface Pro or my Pro desktop. I will also be updating the two laptops, a mini PC and an ASUS T200 Hybrid. If they all go well then I will do the Pro versions.
Biker56
My Desktop W7 Enterprise on the last update ended up a W10 Pro. I will wait for the several months or more for the next update. I also have it set as a metered WiFi. I have my other W10 Home Desktop set as metered. And will hold it off also because the campground WiFi has been off a week and they say maybe 2 more until fixed. My iPhone only has 3GB Hot spot so making it stretch. My laptop is not used now so will wait until campground WiFi is back.
