American Roatrip
Does anyone have any suggestions for cheap, temporary health insurance? I am going to avoid all debates and avoid explanations because I find things can get sticky on these forums fast.
Kirk W
Welcome to the Escapee forums. I don't think that cheap health insurance exists for most of us today, although young, single males are still at the low end. By temporary, do you mean like a trip policy? It is pretty easy to find short term travel coverage for a trip outside of the US or outside of your normal coverage area as we did for international travel, if that is what you are looking for. It might help if you were to define your meaning by temporary.

Tumbleweed
A company called " Golden Rule" offered short term health insurance. I don't know if they still do since Obamacare.
missourijan
We've used www.ehealthinsurance.com for several years. They sell regular policies but also sell short term policies for your state.
KHenson
Short Term Medical plans can be a good bridge to Open Enrollment or Medicare eligibility. Be sure and compare your options so that you are not getting an indemnity plan that pays "limited benefits" vs paying the actual claim.
