Charles Skinner
Shame on me for not know exactly what size golf cart batteries are on my RV which is in storage right now! I need to replace my four golf cart batteries soon, so I checking Sam's web site to get some ideas. I learned that there are several "sizes?" of golf cart batteries. Of course, before I actually buy new ones, I will go out to the storage place to check to see exactly what is on my rig. But before then, what is the usually size gold cart batteries put in 5th wheels? Perhaps "size" is not the right word. It is just that I saw more than one golf cart battery on the Sams site. Ronbo
Sams has both 6 volt and 8 volt. Make sure you get the 6 volt ones Ron C. 2013 Dynamax Trilogy 3850 D3 2000 Kenworth T2000 Optimus Prime
bigjim
Also are you talking about the phyical size or the battery size. Like length X width X heigth, or like 24 series, or 27 series etc.
mptjelgin
The Trojan T-105, which seem to be the most "common" size of golf cart battery have a designated case size of GC-2. The data sheet shows them to be 10.30" long, 7.11" wide, and 11.07" tall. skp51443
Sizes seem to be pretty much standard for the various capacities. 105 http://www.trojanbattery.com/product/t-105/ 125 http://www.trojanbattery.com/product/t-125/ 145 http://www.trojanbattery.com/product/t-145/ L-16 http://www.trojanbattery.com/product/l16h-ac/ (very tall ones) First rule of computer consulting: Sell a customer a Linux computer and you'll eat for a day. Yarome
It might be noted that "golf cart" batteries refers to the actual case size rather than actual type or capacity. Just sayin...
Kirk W
Don't make the mistake that I made with our previous RV as our coach batteries were under the inside step of our motorhome and I measured the space and they would fit, but failed to measure the height and that would have put the top of the posts against the metal bottom of that hinged step! I had to take them back and stay with the pair of 12V batteries such as it came with..... Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years......
