My agent: Cory Jacobs Executive Sales Agent 800 Superior Ave. E. Cleveland, Ohio 44114 (216) 592-7173 Cory.Jacobs@ngic.com Just sent me my renewal paperwork today, so I know he does for Florida. Not sure if your location causes issues, but give him a call.

I'm in the renewal process with Good Sam, and I have replacement value on the trailer of $168k and stated value on the truck, replacement value on contents, and my rate is staying the same. You might want to check with them.

I had a good trip to Halls in Tyler, TX. They fixed my boost leak, boost sensor, performed an overhead, PM, and replaced the cab suspension for what I would consider to be a fair price. Got it all done in two days.
-
What kind of trailer did you buy? Nice truck, btw. The bed and drom are about perfect.
-
Check for TSLB's too, if you're considering Trailer Saver.
-
TrailerSaver makes one rated 7.5k/32k. Think it's about $3.5k, but not sure.

We were there Christmas of 2017. It was a mild year to that point, a dusting of snow and temps down to the teens. Was fine in our trailer, no issues. Just fill water tank and disconnect, or have a heated hose.

From my very limited towing experience with the HDT (singled long), it pretty much matched my 2017 F350 DRW for turning. Just have to go a little deeper into the turn before turning the wheel. Other than getting the extra length into someplace, I imagine it being a negligible difference between the two trucks. For me, my front bumper is about 8 feet beyond where the front bumper of the F350 was, so signs/trees/corners/other obstacles my be present that I would have missed with the F350. This is from a combination of overall length and the hitch being behind the rear axle.

Will be headed over there. Funny how life works out, I actually visited Mark and Dale when they were selling their Travel Supreme.

Got ahold of him and he provided me with a quick rundown of the history/maintenance history of the truck. Good to know the truck has been in RV service since 2008 with annual fluid changes.
-
I got ahold of the Brusses to contact him for me - hopefully I get a response.
-
The Heavy Haulers Resource Guide site shows him as a past owner of the truck I now have - would like to get in touch with him if anyone has contact information for him. http://www.hhrvresource.com/node/428.html

You have any details on those steps available? Install/storage/function? Do the ride on the bottom step?
-
Would be nice. I only "need" the smaller 3k inverter, but would like to get rid of the smart phase selector that I'm using to tie it into the whole coach. If they do a 5k, I'd upgrade a bit, depending on cost.
-
I'll give it a longer evaluation period before making any changes. That, and check the lugnuts.
-
I'll have to look and see. Not sure off hand.

I just had new tires put on my new to me truck - singled 2001 Volvo 660. I also had Centramatics put on steer and drive axle. Driving home, there was a slight "wobbly" vibration around 45-50mph. Tire shop balanced the steer tires, but not the drive. Should I have the drive axle tires balanced?

I think it's a lofty goal, but the power grid isn't there yet. And there are still cars on the road from decades ago. So, while it's a stated goal, and we'll feel some pain from it, I think we're gonna be ok for awhile. It'll take time to rid the country of all the fossil fuel vehicles. An example of a place doomed for failure is California - they can't meet their current electric needs and are not building more electrical grid infrastructure. So - how do they expect to charge all those EV's?

Better.

Thanks. I failed the forum test tonight.

I just bought this truck from someone in Kentucky. They got it from a relatives RV dealer, from a couple that used it full time to travel US and Canada. Believe the lived in Canada, but had US military service. Hauled Harleys on the bed, I think. Looking for history/details on it. Thanks for looking! Retired Navy, did my 20 and started career #2. In the words of my first CMC when I was a young Sailor - "It changed too much, that's when I knew it was time to retire"

I'd like to get a declared value policy, but that doesn't seem likely to happen. So, I'd probably settle for liability and comprehensive, if I can find it. Not terribly worried about collision, but comp covers all the acts of God/nature out there.
