  1. I would think the reason to offer it on a 50 amp service is with units with 3 AC units. They seem to be getting more common.

I thought about getting a soft start, but it was not worth it. A lot of places that don’t offer 50 amps are older parks or parks that can not accommodate large rigs.
Like anything, it all depends on how and where you go.

Fuel efficient cars has been a big part of declining "road taxes".  Many states are now putting an additional license fee on electric and hybrid vehicles.

I have read where some states have started to charge a yearly fee with registration of EVs. As they don’t pay gas tax which is designed to maintain  roads and bridges. And that makes sense as they are heavier vehicles compared to there ICE competitors.

Related to the fuel prices are also the taxes applied to them. The federal government collects 18.3ȼ on each gallon of gasoline sold and another 44.4ȼ one each gallon of diesel fuel. In addition every state has taxes also applied. In TX there is 20ȼ per gallon of state tax on both gasoline and diesel. The highest of the states is PA where it is 58.6ȼ on gasoline and 74.1ȼ on diesel. Second is CA where gas is 53.3ȼ and diesel 68ȼ. For your state, visit Fuel Taxes by State.

I think a bunch of states raised their taxes up a little this year. Covid has robbed them from a ton of income.
    Thanks for the link.

If you don't mind, what is it that doing this would pay to TX? The postal service is all by the federal government and you will be contributing to it, no matter what mail service you use. Is your problem that the Escapee club facilities are in TX and the employees are all TX citizens as are the postal workers who process your mail ? I am just trying to understand the issue.

The problem is that they are passing horrible laws. So why would I want to support a state or their government that is taking away women's health rights and people with different sexual orientation. I think their mentality is you need to be white to be right. Which I am, but it sickens me.

    Glenn ,

    Maybe check this place :

    Victoria RV Park (River Park)

    2001 N Vine St, Victoria, TX 77901

    Short stay : 14 day @ $12 / night .

I’ve stayed there a couple of times.
I went back after a bad storm to help clean up and rebuild.

  6. I’m using the SD mailing service through SKPs Livingston, Tx.
But because of recent laws against woman's rights and now going after trans gender children. That those parents don’t have it hard enough, they want to charge them with child abuse. As much as I love that SKP fights for my rights as a full timer, my heart does not want to give TX a single red cent. As I refuse to support a state that has so much hate and discrimination.
I’m not trying to make this a political post, just trying to explain my reasons to why I do not want to do business with TX.
I like how my Box Elder address does not pay wheel tax.

Thanks for your suggestions on where to go.

Unless it spends most of its time garaged elsewhere. Then it should be registered where IT lives.

    Linda

It could be garaged elsewhere but if there domicile state is elsewhere it really should be registered there. To me your license, tags and insurance should all have the same address. Anything different in my view is trying to skirt the law picking and choosing where and what you want to do with what state.

Just means the float is less. I thought I heard that he sold to cover taxes. It got a big BUMP from the “Hertz contract” which was bullshit. So as soon as it happened and Elon said that there is not a contract, I called for a retracement. You want a tip of a stock with a TON of growth, NIO. I added another 400 shares at $32 about 30 days ago.

From legalized Canada, don't expect legalization to buoy up the Canabis stocks like magic. Retail is a hard game to play. My local guy is about half the price of any of the retailers, my own supply is cheaper still.

Because he is not selling them legally. State taxes are STUPID on weed. Legalizing it helps create a black market.

We've even used voice over WiFi with our Verizon phones connected to our Verizon hotspot. With our roof mounted aimable dual Yagi MiMo antenna set, the our hotspots often get solid service in places the phones get little or no service on their own. With both AT&T and Verizon hotspots, one or the other has always worked well for us every where we've been.  This winter we'll be at Midway Campground on the Tamiami Trail in Florida. The nearest AT&T tower is eleven miles away, and the Verizon tower is 8 miles away. It'll be interesting to see how our signals are there with the MiMo antennas.

How does a Mimo antenna compare to like a Wee Boost? I do realize it will vary by location, but in general?

I hate to say it, but I had a MaximumSignal amplifier and finally gave up fooling with it.   When it worked, it worked well, but it was very sensitive to feedback and going into oscillation no matter how I tried positioning the antennas.

After I thought about it for a while I realized that I really had no need for an "amplified space" in my MH.  Most of the time I use the booster just to amplify the cellular signal going to my Jetpack.  If that's all you're doing, then you can do something simple (and cheap) like putting the Jetpack on the cradle of a WeBoost Sleek.  If the Jetpack is on the cradle then you can access it from anywhere in your RV; no need for a "zone of amplification."

This summer we used the Sleek in some areas with pretty weak Verizon signals.  Although it doesn't have as much gain as its more expensive siblings, the Sleek worked well for us at half the price of the larger WeBoost systems. The one time I needed amplification to make a voice call, I just placed the phone on the Sleek (on top of the Jetpack) and used the phone in speakerphone mode for the call.

Or you can set your phone to talk over wifi. Like my phone is Verizon and my hot spot is AT&T. I have been at places where there is my phone had no signal, but I could use it over my hot spot.
