Agree, bought gold and silver, and am now considering bitcom.
I have also been buying Berrick gold and have been in FCX for a little while. And that stock has been on a tear.

So just last September 8 I bought Tesla again when they dipped. I had expected a dip so put in a buy order for $350 and got shares unexpectedly, in fact it actually went down to almost $300. Now, three months later, Tesla is over $700.00 and my money has doubled if I sold today. I hope some of you bought then too. It has been a very good year indeed for investors. I am staying long Tesla again. In other words no matter how volatile I will stay with it. Last time I had 1000 shares and stayed 8 years long, as outlined in this thread. I am only thinking about cashing them in if I see StarLink IPO and feel good about it. I only invested for a month or so in Solar City and made a few bucks but I never felt good about it. On the other hand I lost on two stocks I felt good about.
Watch out for a bubble, if it pops it is going to do it fast and it is not going to be pretty.

About the only thing 2020 has been good for. Spring dip wasn't as deep or wide as I expected, so I missed some gains there, but I'm riding high at the end of the year.
I know what you mean. I sat on the sidelines with cash ready to work.

In that small of a rig, why not put it under the steering wheel between the seat and the pedals. As when you are parked, it is unused space.

I thought about starting a new thread, but then remembered when I was new and did that I was told to use the search function for ample information. Guess there is no winning with this.
I was not being sarcastic, when I said way to go bring up an older thread, that’s what I meant.

Before Covid days, you could renew your divers liscense by mail if you own property in the State. If you had a PMB you had to renew in person. But I believe you could renew anytime within 6 months before or after expiration. Not sure about the rules now with Covid and extensions.
I have a PMD and they said that I could renew by mail if I could document I was in the state with in 6 months of the expiration date of my license. But I had to renew in person every other time.

Way to resurrect an old thread.

You can get an extension
Yup. I had mine extended. People at their DMV are very friendly and helpful.

"What should we be aware of" Jail
Depends on the states laws.

It is technically illegal to cross all state lines with it, so don't get caught lol
Yup. That’s why where it is legal, the dispensaries grow, make, package and sell all in the same state. They can not cross state lines either.

Only once have I needed to remove a wheel and could not. It cost me $100 to have a service truck to come out and replace my valve core. I have since fixed that issue. It's nice to have all the tools necessary to preform the various things, but is it cost effective? I don't think so. My Humble Opinion Only.

But it saves you hours on waiting on that service call.

With the big truck comes the need for bigger tools.
I have a ton of Dewalt stuff and batteries so I am looking at their tools. I was originally looking at their 3/4" drive but I do not have any 3/4" drive sockets,
Then I saw their 1/2" drive gun has the same specs,
It looks like I can easily find 1/2 drive sockets up to 1-1/2", which should be enough to cover what I need to do on the truck. So if they have the same torque rating why would someone pick the 3/4 over the 1/2 drive?
More heavy duty.

And very few campgrounds are going to let you do work without at least proof of proper insurance. Many will require a minimum of one million dollars in liability insurance. Very expensive. Chuck
Great point about being insured.

Chain of custody is a legal term. It has nothing to do with right of privacy, which is not the issue here. A proper chain of custody is proof that the video has not been modified or doctored in any way. Absent chain of custody there is no proof that the video has not been edited and it would not be admissible in a court of law. Law enforcement may still use it for the purpose of their investigation.
I understand the legal term chain of custody. The point was I do not think police could take my dash cam if I was in an accident. I would think that they would need a warrant for that.
-
Not sure what your asking? But Thousand Trails has a lot of information on there website as well as a toll free number.
-
All depends on the campground. You would just need to ask the management to find out their rules and policies and get permission.

Having a video of an accident that was recorded by your dash cam may be helpful with your insurance claim buy may not be admissible in a Court of Law It would be hard to prove the chain of custody after sharing it with law enforcement, insurance companies and all attorneys involved. Additionally many intersections, if that is where the accident occurred, have traffic cams already installed whose videos would be used in Court.
Not sure what chain of custody would have to do with it. If I recorded someone getting killed I would think it would be admissible. As you have no right to privacy when in a public space. As long as the video has not been modified or doctored in anyway it will never lie. As it just records what happens with no bias.

Whew! I thought i had done something wrong and was racking my brain trying to figure out how i'd made someone mad.
I know what you mean. I opened and closed my browser and did a restart also. No change, plus I could post on other forums that I’m on. So it was telling me it was the site.

Legally it can be seized as evidence at the scene or via warrant at the tow trucks storage site if you had to be towed. There are chain of custody issues in the latter case, but odds are it will be admissible.
If you drive crazy, you might not want one. But otherwise, i think they are a good thing to have. i have 2, one on the dash and one on the rear window of my truck. Nowdays, a single unit will often to both directions.
I would agree that crazy careless drivers would not have one. For me it is just a CYA.

I have a cam too. But I wonder if I am at fault and the camera is seen in the truck, can I refuse access ala "testify against myself" ?
Why not? You can say it was not plugged in. After all it is your property. They can’t force a person to testify. Sure they can subpoena someone, but they can refuse to answer or just play dumb as say they saw nothing.

Yeah, I can reply!!🤪

Put a heating pad on the pipe that goes to the valve. Keeping the liquid warm should keep it from freezing.
