  1. I DID use Google to get my link and yes, the many, many other links given by a Google search said forums are social media. Your two links: one was from a student; one was from 2008. Tufts University considers BLOGS, social media. 😜 "Blogs: A platform for casual dialogue and discussions on a specific topic or opinion." https://communications.tufts.edu/marketing-and-branding/social-media-overview/
  2. Forums are considered social media. I found this and many other links on the subject. https://sproutsocial.com/insights/types-of-social-media/
  3. Medicare does cover refractions and all costs associated with eye issues if checking or treating things such as macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetes, glaucoma, etc.
  4. Here's another review site: https://www.campendium.com/santa-rosa-campground-rv-park
  5. Keep in mind that if you sit and eat on your patio side you will, most likely, be facing your neighbor's dump/hookup side.
  6. This is the easiest way to use your blocks.
  7. Don't shoot the messenger! I was trying to find a reason why the poster's daughter said doctors don't like Advantage programs since he hasn't returned to reply. BTW.... Kirk's link from 'Value Penguin' also states they may received some compensation. The site I referenced sells all kinds of insurance... Supplement and Advantage. Again, here is a 'possible' reason that the poster's daughter made her statement. "If you ask your doctor how they feel about Medicare Advantage plans, the answer may surprise you. The average physician is not a fan of Medicare Advantage because these plans put the patients’ financial risk in the hands of the doctor. The Medicare Advantage plan carrier will pay the doctor a set amount of money upfront based on the patient’s diagnosis. So, the only way the physician will make a profit is if they stay under budget. If they don’t say under budget, they end up losing money. Meaning, you may not receive the full extent of care. Thus, many doctors will likely tell you they do not like Medicare Advantage plans because private insurance companies make it difficult for them to get paid for their services." Again.... this is from the link that sells Advantage plans. Not all the plans are a one size fits all. I agree with you that everyone needs to investigate which one is best for them.
  8. This may shed some light on your questions: https://www.medicarefaq.com/faqs/why-medicare-advantage-plans-are-bad/
  9. Ours was by Empire. I'm sure there are differences.
  10. We've used ours at Silverton, Colorado which is 9300' EL.
  11. We full-timed and used our heater for 16+ years. We did as listed above. It's an awesome, safe way to heat with even warmth; not on/off. Used as directed they are safe otherwise we'd be reading of many accidents. Go to Quartzsite and you'd find just about everyone uses one. I can't imagine one being installed correctly under a refrigerator. We had a licensed propane dealer install ours & it had a long enough hose where we could turn the heater around to aim at different areas. It ran off our onboard propane tank and they are so much more economical to run than a furnace. In winters we were in areas where it would get below freezing some nights but warmed up by 9-10 am. (Arizona) so our pipes didn't freeze by not running a regular furnace. We don't like sleeping in a warm room & never left it on at night. We turned it on when we woke and it warmed the place in 15 minutes or so. They are terrific to use if you're a dry camper/boondocker.
  12. The OP doesn't want snow but I wonder how he feels about excruciating heat? Those places have it.
  13. There are many public parks but with your equipment and the time of year they may not be open and you may not fit. Consider ordering this publication: https://www.big-rigs-rv.com/OnlineVersion.html It might be easier to find a big parking lot/rest area & have them come visit you for the day in your RV.
  14. There was a lawsuit against Escapees because people were voting for local folks who didn't reside in Texas. Escapees won. https://law.justia.com/cases/texas/ninth-court-of-appeals/2002/6715.html
  15. ARNWRKR: Thank you. I found this description: https://orthoinfo.aaos.org/en/treatment/unicompartmental-knee-replacement/
  16. Hmmm... I've never heard of having "insides" or "outsides" of knees done. What, exactly, do you mean by that?
  17. Here is Coarsegold - California's stay limit for visitors - 30 days in a calendar year. https://www.parkofthesierras.org/stay-with-us/campingrates/ Jojoba - California's - 28 days in a calendar year. https://jojobahills.com/cms/about/rates/ WOW!
  18. It's a $500 refundable fee to be put on to it. They are all waiting to get a leased lot in the park. Benson Saguaro is unique in that you don't have to be #1 to get a lot. When a lot is advertised as available anyone can put their name into getting it. The lowest number calling in on a Saturday gets the lot. We were #116 when we got ours. We spent a good part of the winter there... just traveling for short trips. http://skpsaguaro.org/be-a-leaseholder.html
  19. What park is that? I've never heard of that rule. For the Arizona Saguaro Co-op park there are many ways of rentals... daily or annual. Naturally, the longer you stay the cheaper it is. Approx. 350 on their wait list to get a lot!! That park always has a big wait list. It's a beautifully-run park with big sites. We had a lot there for a long period of time. https://www.skpsaguaro.org/ratesregulations.html
  20. Medicare and my Supplement covered everything. No copays; not a one bill.
  21. The shots aren't a cure. You have to keep getting them and they don't work for everyone. Hope you decide on replacement. You'll be happy you did!
  22. I've had two knees and a shoulder replaced. Two weeks of serious recouping is worth it to get rid of the before pains. After two weeks you'll notice great improvements daily. I hike and play pickleball effortlessly. Putting it off isn't going to help. The older you get it becomes more serious to have surgeries. They won't improve without replacement. Go for it!
  23. Click on the park you have in mind & you can find the rates. I would guess the magazine is up-to-date. https://escapeesrvparks.com/ Same for the co-ops: https://escapees.com/skp-co-op-parks/
