CHIP
In the process of buying a 2018 579 peterbilt. Does anyone know of a quick and easy way to set up the pigtail using the existing pigtail from the tractor. My son will be pulling a 40 foot living quarters horse trailer. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
rickeieio
Best way by far, is to use a Jackalopee. Simple to install and nearly bullet proof, unless some dipstick (like me) lets water get inside. Ours is mounted to the rear of the cab so I can see it from the back of the bed, using the led's for diagnostics. BTW, WELCOME!!!!!!! Nigel
Welcome . As Rick said above, Jackalopee is the easiest way and can be found here https://ethitch.com/et-products/jackalopee/ If you are needing a brake signal for a brake controller it can be taken from the Jackalopee.
