house
I need to add a 2.5 inch receiver hitch to my truck, does anyone have any pictures they could share, I searched but did not find much. Any "kits" on the market to help, at this point I am kind of looking to do something like this https://rock-solid-motorsports.com/products/1-rsm-mega-pintle-hitch-kit-for-semi-trucks?variant=42350788346053 minus the big d rings, but I would like to make it look a bit more awesome
Steve from SoCal
I made a hitch plate for the back of my truck that bolted tegether and to the frame. The side plates are 1/2 and the face is 5/8. The sides are bolted to the frame with 7- 5/8 bolts each side and the face is bolted to angle welded to the side plates. jenandjon
I installed a 20k curt universal weld on. It has a 2 1/2 receiver so you can get a receiver with the pintle hitch on it. I bolted and welded it. Everything is black so it blends in very well. It's hard to see so I will probably put some reflective tape on it. JGWALES
Mine is hidden. Behind the motorhome license plate. In the bumper . Flip it up and there is the hitch.
