Hotter it gets the colder our mini splits

Recommended Posts

I read some complaints about mini splits and humidity issues. Now that we are in triple digits it is now cold at 75 degrees. And surprisingly it is colder in living room area that bedroom. I have 12k unit in both. So even mini splits can be oversized. Our bedroom would be colder with a 9k from these observations. We are actually wrapped up in here at 75 degrees. It is very dry also.

Yep, oversizing an air conditioning unit results in high humidity and cool air, my dad did that and his house always felt clammy during summer. The A/C company rep argued with dad, but the money won out.
