etcetera
I am thinking V10 6.8L might be a safer bet.
RV_
Hey you are doing due diligence. etcetera! You might want to check the RV.or rating book. Lots of folks criticize them but I found they were no help in finding the perfect RV, but were a big help in eliminating the worst RVs. They have free info ontheir website too. Before you buy you can look up recalls here: https://rv.org/blogs/recalls Free news on their website here: https://rv.org/blogs/news Good luck bud, I buy used too. Some are real value as they are broken in and the nitnoy stuff fixed. Some are just broke. I am excited for you. My only advice is to always pay a qualified mechanic to do a thorough mechanical brakes, exhaust, tranny, electrical, and engine inspection in addition to your own checking tire date codes, water and sewage systems, roof, inside for signs of leaks, TV and radios if so equipped, heat and A/C, and inside cabin lighting and fridge. Make it fun. Again best of luck! Quote RV/Derekhttp://www.rvroadie.com Email on the bottom of my website page.Retired AF 1971-1998 When you see a worthy man, endeavor to emulate him. etcetera
Thank you. The good news, Dynamax Isata does come with a Ford V10 Triton motor. The bad news, it's rarely seen in the wild, almost all Isatas are diesel. I am kind of inclined to get a gasser these days. They 27-30' Isatas from 2006-2008 are somewhat affordable despite the original exorbitant MSRP. I would think the V10 engine would bring down the price. etcetera
I think that unit was a bait-and-switch situation, after waiting for a week they said it's under a contract - but still listed on their web site as available. podwerkz
That's way too much low and rear overhang for too little benefit. Or so it seems to me. The entire rig LOOKS overloaded because it IS overloaded. You are approaching the price point where used Jayco Senecas begin to show up. An actual heavy duty truck chassis, designed to be worked on, with a tip-forward hood. I loaded up a few results on RV trader for ya: https://www.rvtrader.com/Jayco-Seneca/rvs-for-sale?make=Jayco|2272274&model=SENECA|764842168&sort=price%3Aasc&modelkeyword=1 Edited August 31, 2021 by podwerkz Quote Nothing to see here.
