What you have is exactly what the specs are calling for. That comes from the fact that your cord has 1 neutral, 1 ground, and 2 hot leads, each of them at 120V but of opposite polarity so that if you measure voltage from either hot lead to ground or neutral it will read 120V but if you measure from one hot lead to the other (labeled as L1 & L2) you will then read 240V. Thus your cord matches the power cord for your 50A RV. Quote Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years......
