That should have started the furance. It didn't. Will check out after it cools down some. Likely the carbon steel pipe is rusty inside. GlennWest Posted September 15, 2019 Author Report Share Posted September 15, 2019 All is well now.When I had the cover off finding the thermostat wires, a wire nut came off. It arched also. I promptly replaced it with another wire nut and forgot about it. Well fuse was blown. Amazing how I jump to the hard stuff and overlook the obious.
