elishaman
I just got a new Keystone cougar 25res 5th wheel and am looking to put stabilizers on front landing gear and need advise. Any experience with either jt strongarm or steadyfast?
LindaH
We had the JT Strongarm stabilizers installed on a fifth wheel we had. They did a very good job of stabilizing the rig, even when the washing machine was in the spin cycle. Chad Heiser
I have the SteadyFast on my rig and won't own another 5th wheel without them based on my experience. They make a big difference in stability in the rig. I like the Steady fast over the JT Stongarms personally because it has fewer parts to lock in when setting up and breaking down, but I have no actual personal experience with the strongarms. 2009 Volvo 670 with dinette/workstation sleeper - Walter 2017 DRV Mobile Suite 40KSSB4 with factory mods, dealer mods and personal mods - now in the RV graveyard 2022 DRV Full House MX450 with customized floor plan 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo S (fits in the garage) 2016 Smart Car (fits in the garage or gets flat towed behind the DRV when the RZR is in the garage) My First Solar Install Thread My Second Solar Install Thread & Photos and Documents Related to the build My MX450's solar, battery and inverter system - my biggest system yet! chadheiser.com West Coast HDT Rally Website
packnrat
ll i was using blocks under my landing legs, to keep the extended legs short, but just this week bolted (and a bit of welding, self taping bolts tended to strip out.) a set of strong arms. will see how they do. so far just in pushing the rv no wiggle. not using the blocks, just the strong arm supports.
