Trailer plug

Jackalopee is the converter to use.  I suggest mounting it inside one of the storage boxes in your cab.  It has room inside for your electric brake wiring as well.  That keeps all your wiring connections out of the elements.  I was still commercial when I bought mine but I was pulling a trailer with electric brakes and combined stop turn lamps so I cut a green trailer cord plugged it in the commercial socket wired the other end into the  Jackolopee and wired the rv type socket to the output.  That way I still have the commercial plug to use if I ever need it.  Very simple install.  Here is a link to the resource guilds on tail light converters.  http://www.hhrvresource.com/node/203
