whj469
Sanborn, you can buy it at the border before you enter. I wouldn't go without having some type of approved Mexican Insurance. Mexico is a completely different country, you need approved auto insurance. Did you notice that your US insurance is good in Canada but not Mexico, please get good Mexican auto insurance before you travel past the 12 mile or K limit. StarDreamers.us
Perhaps you can add a rider to your current insurance carrier. That's what we were able to do last year. Have a SAFE trip. theeyres
We go to Mexico a couple times a year and have been using http://www.mexadventure.com/ for our insurance. They are great. A phone call and they will answer any questions, otherwise you can do it all on line. They include legal aide and great advice in dealing with any type of pull over by local police. 2007 Arctic Fox 32.5 rls for full-timing, now sold. 2014 Sunnybrook Sunset Creek 267rl for the local campgrounds now that we are off the road2007 Silverado 2500 diesel Loving Green Valley, AZ (just South of Tucson)

whj469
I have heard that before. When I had to extend an auto policy 1,000 km from the US Border, it was cheaper then at the border.
