campgrounds in SoCal

hi  need help finding campgrounds in SoCal. we would like to be there a month and can anytime in Sept and Oct this year

my Dad is in San Juan Capistrano and brother is near Upland. would like to find something between the two or even do 2 weeks near one and 2 weeks near the other. 

we don't need too fancy - 

we have a 41' fifth wheel so several state parks are out of the running

any suggestions will be appreciated!

Length is no problem but unless you can find a pulthrew you will have to unhook. Membership in Passport America is cheap and can get 50% discounts

RVParky or RV Campground Review are the two apps we use for 90% of our campground needs. Both free apps.

Consider joining the Elks. There are a few lodges that have RV spaces in that area at a reasonable rate.

We've stayed here for NHRA and enjoyed it.  I know someone that lives there, so long term is available.  Nice place, well kep and easy access to freeway.  A drive to Capistrano, close to Upland.

While it isn't really close, the prices are reasonable and the park is very nice if you would consider one as far away as Yucaipa but the Yucaipa Regional Park is very nice and reasonably priced for that part of the country. The issue might be distance. We stay in that park for a week when in that area as we did last March.
