Al F
My request is pretty simple: I want "unread TOPICS since last visit" back!! Yes I have set up "activities" to show all my unread POSTS since my last visit. However that shows every individual unread post in chronological order. Before I get very far down the list, I have to click on "load more activity". It even continues on to yesterday's unread content even when I visited yesterday. While I didn't read some of those topics yesterday because I wasn't interested, some of the posts still pop up. This is NOT about complaining about CHANGE. It is about complaining about changes being made with out notification or explanation or directions about to use the things which have changed. HORRIBLE! hdrider
I agree about the "unread topics since last visit". It is much better without the announcements popping up all the time but the "unread topic since last visit" would make this a OK site again as far as I'm concerned. Unread topics since last visit is effectively the same as Unread Content followed by Mark site read. There is an extra click but it provides more control. A reading session can be interrupted without losing track of the unread posts. Line 1 - ends with just the return (enter) key. Line 2 - ends with shift-return (shift-enter) key combination. It's there, it just takes a lot of work (like yesterday and today) to figure out how to get it to work. First, go to the Browse tab and the click on each forum that you want to follow. When it opens up, on the upper right side click on Follow, and then click on 'no email' to make sure you don't end up with a filled mailbox. When you've identified all of the forums you want to follow, go to the Activity tab, and go to the My Activity Stream, click and scroll down to the create new stream. Name it and go through each area and decide what you want - one of which will be posts since last visit, etc. And hopefully I haven't forgotten a step and once you save you will be good to go. noteven
Just below "Search" box just above "follow" box - I click on Unread Content "Are we there yet?" asked no motorcycle rider, ever.

I wonder if it goes back for more than 30-34 hours, as that is all I am seeing before it shows "There's no more activity to display. Clicking on "Unread Content" does show the topics with unread content, and does not show every post which is what I wanted.
