After the Total on the Road with the New 5er

All On the 16th of Sept I picked up the new 5er (43' Mesa Ridge. We loaded it back up with the "stuff" from the totaled unit and left on the 26th of Sept for a southern run. We went to Key West with a 5 day hold in Wildwood Fla waiting for the hurricane to decide where it was going. Once it went north we went south. We had a week on the Keys and stayed at Bluewater Keys RV resort 2 mile marker 14 1/2. It was pricey but we wanted to be sure we had a nice place. It really was! We ended up on the road for 6 weeks did 3000 plus miles and loved every minute of it. Our 98 Volvo ran great and got 8.9 for the total trip. Just made reservations for the ECR. Life is good for this Old Sailor. Now if my health and knees will just cooperate. Hope everyone will have a Merry Christmas. God Bless. Pat

Hi Pat,

It is nice to hear that life is good for you. Warm weather can work miracles. I hope to see you in April at the ECR.
