Shower in our FW

After 10 years of cussing our shower door, it finally shattered prior to leaving on a trip. Thankful we were not on the trip, so we hung a shower curtain for temporary use. We would love to change our neo-angle pan to a 34" square pan but impossible to find. So, looking for recommended enclosures for the existing pan. Forest River only has the original enclosure which we don't want, a sticky door is not fun. Any experience out there that I can draw on.

I have had some success with finding companies that can make fiberglass pans in sizes for their customers. That does not mean that it will be RV related, but a shower is a shower, what makes it RV related is how it is used and what industry it is made for. Dont go to the home centers, that will likely be a frustrating experience. If you are handy or have a handy person available to you, doing some remodeling is not a far reach to get you to where you want to go.

Making your own shower pan is not that hard to do if you have a little bit experience working with poly-ester resin . Maybe friends or neighbor has worked on boats or Corvettes . It looks difficult but it is kinda simple . A friend of mine made his out of concrete reinforced with fiberglass fabric , worked well .

We have just searched and searched for a neo angle shower door. We neded custom, VERY EXPENSIVE! Shopped on line and store after store. Finally found one that Lowes would order and was the best price, just over $700.00, outrageous, but many were well over $1,000.00

Hope you can find a better deal, if you don't need a custom size.

You can buy 34" square shower pans at Home Depot so that part should be easy enough IF the drain will line up with what you have without too much "surgery" required.

If you want to just get a new glass enclosure, you might check with a local glass company. For example, we have one here locally that will make any size/shape you want and the prices are very reasonable. The more complicated designs obviously will cost more but a neo-angle is not complicated or unusual.
