GlennWest
Where is brake switch? I found an air brake controller behind dash that works parking brakes, trailer air supply. Also directly ahead of brake pedal under hood is an air brake valve. Lots of air lines going to it. exhausts air out of it when brakes applied. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
GlennWest
Well, I'm going to tee into the line coming to the brake pressure gauge unless someone says different. Can't find brake light switch. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
CrazyCooter
Well, I'm going to tee into the line coming to the brake pressure gauge unless someone says different. Can't find brake light switch. That's where I did mine. GlennWest
Well think I found brake light switch. Not like the Volvos I have seen. Just electrical screwed into air device. All on firewall connecting to brake pedal. May run red line there. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
GlennWest
Well that line to gauge is smaller than what fittings I have. Pulled a 3/8 line off and no air, push pedal, air. Teed in and working unit. I didn't hook up red wire. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
Mark and Dale Bruss
The red wire is to activate the brake lights if you manually activate Hayes. GlennWest
Once I set I will put it out of sight. So I see no need for it. With the HDT brakes it not a big panicked deal if rv brakes fail. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
