Chromebook and Acer 11.6" at Target

Thought I'd toss this out here!! target this week has an ad for a Chromebook and an Acer 11.6' 32gb internal HD + 2gb Ram; mini computers on sale for 129.99 + Tax. Good deal if you just need one for browsing and emails. Maybe some light applications.

Wonderful gifts for the grandkids too, plenty of safe stuff for them to use. Our local schools are now using chrome books as a far cheaper alternative to other computers.

 

Great for an older parent too, no administration, cootie scans or updates that they need to get involved in, just power it on and surf or read your mail and you are done.

 

 

Other brands have bigger screens or you can get a Chrome Box that will hook to a bigger monitor.

The Flexx 11.6 works better for me. Of course it costs a lot more.

 

Yesterday I saw a Toshiba at Best Buy with W10, 11.6, 4 memory, and a 500 drive for the same price. I considered that a good deal. It was a nice little computer. I almost bought it.

I was at Walmart yesterday and purchased a 10.1" 2gb ram--32gb mem., 2in1 tablet with W/10. A closeout, last one for $78.00 + Tax. Didn't need it but had an older 7" with Android 4.2 and worked good. had a couple of cheap Polaroids 7" at Christmas with Android; the would not stay connected to WIFI after one use, returned. This has a keyboard and HDMI. Bluetooth and a port for USB.
