My B&Ws’ jaws release easier this way.

Yes and yes......
Chock trailer tires.
Disconnect breakaway cable and umbilical cord from truck.
Open tailgate.
Unlock and move hitch lever forward to release the jaws.
Raise trailer off of hitch.
Pull truck forward slowly watching that the jaws have released. -

I understand the ET will be available in the near future with an “enhancement” that will allow you to “change out” the airbags to increase capacity without “swapping” out the complete hitch.

I believe your have decided to go with the Magnum product line. This is just an example of a battery monitor. Your Magnum battery monitor should be equipped with the correct shunt size.
