  1. With winter coming I would use at least a 100 watt panel. That should give you enough to keep  4 batteries nicely charged. A PWM solar controller would be fine. Some wire to connect everything and you have spend only a bit more than that other panel you were looking at. Lots more power.

  2. Can you "camp" in your driveway after picking up the camper.  Turn on the fridge and let it get to selected temperature. Fill fridge with some gallon sized water bottles you've chilled in your home fridge. add a thermometer to the fridge.  Disconnect from shore power and turn off the inverter.  Check fridge temp periodically and you will be able to guess how long the fridge will stay at a safe temp with no power supplied. It may surprise you. I would still like to see a minimum of 2 "deep cycle" marine batteries.

  3. Are you sure the charger is actually charging the battery?  Could be the converter is not charging the battery but is supplying 12vdc when on shore power and this is why the detector is acting the way it is.  What size battery bank do you have?  How long after disconnecting from shore power does the detector go off?  What else may you be running off of your battery system?   RV fridge, lights, inverter, etc?

  4. Double check you spacing between your tires. The GY 614’s are sized smaller than the Sailun S637T 235/85-16 by on inch. The size is the same if you go with the S637 in a 235/80-16 size.

  5. Didn’t you mention you were embarking on a rather long trip this time out?  Why start out with a question mark? Change the tire!  I’m “extra” cautious and I would change both on that side. Haven’t you had enough excitement so early in your trip? Piece of mind goes along way to having a more enjoyable trip. You might also look at the “Sailun 637” as an alternative to the “Goodyears”.  Lots of folks have positive things to say about them. Decisions.... decisions!

Carl, we have Kodak 250 calipers that were installed at MorRyde. I’m not familiar with a recall notice. Did a quick Google search and nothing obvious popped up.  Can you share the recall details.

Is this it....Kodiak Brake Recall ?
