I DO NOT miss them on freaking bit!

My original post was a bit my fault, but, since then, I'm finding trying to discontinue their service can be a nightmare.  You have to call, sometimes several times, because when they transfer you to someone who can actually disconnect you, the call is dropped.  And I think every single person they have working the phones is from India,  or they are IN India.  I have a heck of a time understanding them.

I've gone full streaming with my new Starlink antenna, and I find I rarely watch DTV at all.

I believe that 1TB isn't happening anytime soon. Here is a less than two week old article from Tom's about it. I believe that 300Mbps is the goal for their premium service.

Excellent.  I just hope SL can keep with the traffic it ends up with.  Don't want it to become like campground wifi!  But, being Elon, he's for sure designed for that.

So can you smoke pot openly in a escapees park.

Not sure what 'openly' means, but no, not anymore than you can walk around drinking a beer.

At the entrance to Mesa Verde Nat'l Park there's this big sign, "Marijuana is prohibited by Federal Law.. blah blah blah."  This is in COLORADO.  Right.  Like that sign is going to stop anyone from bringing weed with them.

..these kids are still smoking weed in the bathrooms. Folks this country is in huge trouble for the future far worse then (sic)  it is today......

I don't like kids toking up, but weed has been around a long time.  I can think of plenty of other things the country is in trouble from other than weed.

On the same line of thought, how did you choose what battery to buy if you have gone to LiFePO4 batteries?

My setup is 48v, so I was faced with a much different decision.  I could have gone with 4 12v batteries, but Relion makes a 48v steel case pack that seemed a lot less hassle to me.  All that wiring was already done.

The battery has worked well for over 4 years, and with much heavy use shows no signs of degradation.  In that time I would have easily gone through a set of LAs.   I really hope it's the last battery I ever have to buy.

  6. After 3 years I'm really getting tired of chasing air leaks on my FL M2-106.   I thought I had this tamed last year when I replaced the cab bags, and I did, for about 2 weeks.  This time I've done my best to inspect every single point of failure, and I've found nothing, but I'm going to zero in about 8 hours.

I'm thinking everyone must deal with this, so, do you guys have a time interval you allow for leaking down, even to zero, before you consider it critical? 3 hours, 8 hours, a day.. what?

Where is that? I have seen Coming Soon, Expand in 2023, Available Now, but never have seen Low Capacity.

Starlink's own map... the map you get when you sign up and check coverage.  Mesa Verde Nat'l park in SW Colorado, near Cortez/Mancos.

I watch a youtube on those antennas.  Man,  that is really some technology how they track the satellites without having to physically move.  We sure have some smart people in this world.

For those that might be interested New Mexico just legalized pot sales in April of this year....If this continues, that equates to $28,800,000 in new tax collected for the state. Thats right, almost 29 million dollars.

Excellent. I would much rather pay the state than a street dealer.    Now I don't have to drive to CO!

Is it maybe a quarter turn cap? Push down while turning?

I'll try that, thanks.  I was getting concerned about coolant because on my last two tows I noticed it hitting 212 before the fan came on.  In years of ownership I've never paid that close attention to the water temp, maybe that's normal for  this truck.

Edit.. I've tried twisting, pushing.. it won't come off.  I'll see what SC has to say.  Hours later I still can't this thing off.

  10. It looks kinda reddish.

What's the trick to getting the metal cap off?  I've twisted it open but I can't pull it off.  Looks like some kind of rubber thing in the middle of the cap may be stuck.  I've seen youtubes using a wrench but I don't want to twist it too far.
