Here's hoping it is all a tempest in a teacup and everything turns out well.

We are awaiting results of the heart monitor Dave wore for 2 weeks. Alternating between anxiety and head-in-the-sand. In the meantime he's having another basel cell carcinoma removed from his head. What's that saying? Getting old is not for sissies?

Freddy - we are all waiting for an update from you about both you and Delcie. Our prayers are with you that everything is turning out good.

We made a fast trip down to Arizona to exchange boats. Jim wanted his good Lund down in Arizona since that is where he spends most of his time fishing. We will never make another trip like that again. Staying in motels with two dogs is not my idea of a good time. But we are slowly recovering and look forward to a few more adventures before returning to AZ.

We made that trip last summer.  My fishing grounds for 30+ years with the guys and I wanted to show Marsha around.  She loved it and we had a great time.

We are getting ready to head South on Thursday, October 5.  Going to spend most of the winter in and around Texas.  Houston, Rio Grande Valley, Seminole Canyon, Big Bend, and other areas.  Thinking about getting the Texas State Park Pass again and seeing some of the parks we missed last time.

We will be at the Houston Elks through the Holidays, so give us a shout out if passing through.

Safe travels everyone!

Delcie had a bone marrow biopsy yesterday. She has folickler Limphomia. Excuse the spelling,  We just do what the Dr. tell us as we don't understand all the medical terms.  We are doing pretty good but it will be about Christmas before we get on the road again.

Sounds like a wonderful trip but...You might want to check on campground availability. Around here pretty much everything shuts down by Oct 15th.

My brother has some type of lymphoma but it doesn't keep him from traveling. I hope Delcie's is like that, too. At least waiting until Christmas to leave home is not as bad when home is in Texas. I hope you make it to Arizona to see everyone who will be there. I miss those gatherings.

A long long drive today.  Bagley, Minnesota to Elk Point, South Dakota.   400 miles and we had a cross wind almost all the way.  (kudos husband, good job).  Great little city park for $10.00 a night electric.  We will be here a couple of days and then continue south and west.

Good to stay a couple nights after that long day. I'm still amazed at how many small towns in the midwest and upper midwest have affordable campgrounds. Glad you found a good one.

We really enjoyed our visit with Jeff and Tina. We meet them for breakfast and talked about everyone.  Hope to see their new house when it is finished,  the next time we visit.

After visiting with Jeff and Tina and talking about everyone, we got to thinking about Lee (IYQ), we decided to stop  in Deming, NM. Lee talked about the Adobe Deli so much and took his friends there to eat.  Anyway we had to eat there tonight,  Food was as good as Lee said and a very interesting place.
