I had same issue on my Volvo 670, darn thing shut down a number of times when I first owned it. Tag on the top of the reservoir says "Fill to Brim". Hard corners were setting off the low level alarm and shut the truck down.

Forgot to add anti gel fluid to my Diesel yesterday when stopped overnight in Raton, NM temps were just below zero. Truck started fine (plugged in) but would not go above 1500 rpm; luckily I had a bottle of 911 anti gel with me and only had 65 gallons of fuel in the tank so I added the entire contents plus 1/2 can of Sea Foam. It took over a 100 miles for the issue to clear out since the temps were averaging 15 to 20 degrees. While this was happening I noticed my coolant temp would not rise above 113 degrees. When the issue went away the temp went back to normal. Did this gelling issue do any damage to my nearly new fuel filters; should I replace them.

I am using a product called Max Mileage from Pittsburgh Power. One gallon treats 3000 gallons, this is a catalyst so exact measurement is required. I have EGR only and it appears to be working.

We had a good trip visiting old friends and making new ones. Stopped off in Green Valley to see my parents and have got 3 loads of laundry done. Some fun football games to watch and nice weather. I could do this trip again.

Volvo doors come apart pretty easy, you might replace the speaker while in there. I had lock issues as well, Volvo sells lots of these parts. Plastic if I remember correctly.

My T fitting behind driver seat is leaking. Located under the floor mat and supplies air to the passenger seat. Had to cut slots in matt in order to gain access. My whisper device found the large leak. Thanks Parformance for letting me use your tool.

I just borrowed a whisper yesterday from Doug a member. Need to purchase couplers and hose. Where do you guys get parts from? Not holding air for very long.

I purchase my oil from Walmart and told them I was bringing them the dead oil. No problem as long as they know it did not come from a shop. I pumped the old oil back into gallon jugs.

Welcome Texas you landed with a group of folks having many years of HDT experience. Next week I head to the Hutch KS Rally maybe I can share some of the materials with you. My truck was converted by myself over the past 4 years while I have enjoyed the work it is tough and mine is set up as a bumper pull Volvo 670 see link below in signature. In the future we do want a 5er so will have to decide to cut down the frame rails or sell truck most likely already converted to singled. Keep asking others questions and write down the pro's and con's of what you plan. Texas has some good bed building shops as does KS.

I missed one important item that Volvo did recently. Noteven I think my project list is about done..... Will you please post a picture of the front hub caps. Had Volvo do a smoke test, they sealed the turbo and replaced one of the hoses; beats doing it on the side of the road. Had to read this one; only owned the 10 speed Eaton Fuller manual the truck was the perfect find in great shape and such low miles. Other than being on I-70 on a Sunday night moving 5 miles an hour I enjoy the shifting. Would have done the 13 speed if I could have, this one can not be converted. Float On
