RV_
A Firestick can get sluggish and need some attention. Here's how to clear up space, and add as much storage as you want for downloads. I've already gotten the cables to attach extra storage from USB flash drives to USB external HDDs and SSDs. It involves downloading an app explained in the video. Once you've cleaned it up you can take advantage of the free downloads on several major streaming services. Then watch when you can't stream, right from your Firestick anyway. Here is video one:

chindog
Thank you for posting these videos! I had no idea I could download videos to my firestick. I'll be doing a lot of this, now.
RV_
YW Mike! I found Amazon had two types of cables so I ordered two of each and the power part works great. We have four Firesticks so I haven't made a day to do them all. I was glad they had how yo use the file app as it is not intuitive but is clear now with the video. Just cleaning up cache and deleting unused Apps and files are needed even if one doesn't want to download. Glad you can use the info.
