Al F
Does anyone have a source for the o-rings needed when you replace the battery in the TST 507 Cap-Style sensors? I need to replace the batteries in my TST 507 Cap-Style TPMS sensors, but I need a source for the o-rings. When I unscrew the cap to access the battery the o-ring tears apart. I have looked on Vulcantire.com where I bought the sensors, but they want an arm and a leg for the o-rings and batteries as a package. $24 for a set of 10. The o-rings should be just nominal cost and the batteries are not expensive at the store or Amazon. I did try to do a search on this forum, but don't get any hits for "TPMS AND ring" or "TPMS AND rings" Edited January 6, 2022 by Al F Quote Al & Sharon 2006 Winnebago Journey 36G 2020 Chevy Colorado Toad San Antonio, TX http://downtheroadaroundthebend.blogspot.com/

I also finally found a thread in this forum where others discussed this topic: There is a link in the above thread for pretty much the same o-rings. https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-100Pcs-Nitrile-Sealing-Grommets/dp/B01MTNZLGL Quote Al & Sharon 2006 Winnebago Journey 36G 2020 Chevy Colorado Toad San Antonio, TX http://downtheroadaroundthebend.blogspot.com/
Al F
Also in the same thread I mentioned above: https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-100Pcs-Nitrile-Sealing-Grommets/dp/B01MTNZLGL a couple people wrote that they did {edit) NOT put o-rings back on when they just replaced the battery. They put a dab of silicone plumbers grease on the threads and that worked fine. I meant to write that some people did NOT put o-rings back on. Dutch_12078
I found the 11mm rings to be a little too tight, making them hard to install and more prone to breakage. The 12mm rings work better for me... sundancer268
I use Silicone Grease on my O-Rings and get several years on each O-Ring. Star Dreamer
We haven't replaced any of our orings on our TST 507 sensors in the 10 years we have been using them. Usually changing out the batteries about once a year, sometimes longer. We have 12 sensors and in those 10 years, I think I have replaced 5 sensors and three of those were for breakage. I did on the beginning put a little bit of RTV sealant on the threads but haven't lately.
