Freightliner fuel not transferring

Got a few you tube tips about some breather on the top of the tanks.  Sound like a good place to start?  The passenger tank is staying full.

If it ain't one thing it's another. I'm getting really tired of all the maintenance on this thing.

Quick check? Run it with the fuel cap a little loose. More likely issue is the line from the tank to the splitter is sucking air. How's it running?

I have been wrong before, I'll probably be wrong again.

But why would the fuel cap *suddenly * be a problem?

Swelling in the rubber ring inside the cap.

ETA: Running fine  Sounds like the fuel lines are fine, then. If it's sucking air, it'll act like it's running out of fuel, because it is.
