Can anyone tell what the comfort level of the fold out beds in the B class RVs is?   I have seen some that have the sofa in the rear that folds out, some with a padded piece that goes between two seats to make them become a bed, etc.        Just wondering how they compare to a bed in a class c or a

It depends somewhat on the brand/model. The sofa bed in the back of our Leisure Travel van was comfortable but making it up every night was not fun. The sofa bed in our Winnebago View was not comfortable so we spent a lot of time/money trying to make it better. But the permanent bed in our Class A wasn't comfortable either until we found the right foam pad for it. Every one sleeps differently so what worked for us might not work for you and vice versa.

I forgot to say the bed in my Sportsmobile conversion van was very comfortable from the get go.

Thanks,    Are the Sportsmobile conversions good overall compared to the other B models?

For me, 100% yes. Since I had mine built new, I was able to specify tank sizes as well as the floor plan that worked for me including having a desk with a real desk chair and a kitchen counter that was six feet long. But, I was solo in that rig. Although I did design it in such a way that my single bed could have been replaced with a gaucho for sleeping two in case the next buyer wanted that.
