trimster
We're moving up from a MDT to a 630. Found a prospect in Carrollton, Georgia (Jorden Truck Sales). It's a fair bit from Salt Lake City, so wondering if there's someone that could give the truck a once over? Would be glad to compensate your time. Guess we should find someone to do a DOT inspection as well. Dealer can't do it (Georgia laws, which I agree with). Needs to be looked at this week or early next week at the latest, if possible. Here's a link to the truck https://www.nexttruckonline.com/search?category_level1=Sleeper+Trucks&make=VOLVO&model=VNL64T-630&state=Georgia&year=2015&listing_id=7892007&s-type=truck# Appreciate the help. We'd like to have it ready for the west coast meetup ... and meet everyone. Thanks in advance. Moresmoke
Just my $.02, the fact that the prior owner had plates to mount the fuel/HUT stickers tells me they cared about the truck. It’s a sharp looking truck, premium shifter which is a plus. One thing to note, there is no “trolley brake” aka trailer brake handle, similar to mine. Not sure why, but some Volvo’s are that way. I can’t comment on the pricing, as I haven’t been shopping recently, but if you can get some assurance that it has spent most of its miles in the south you should be in good shape. Mine doesn’t have a “trolley” either. I bought one from a salvage three years ago and have been looking since for a schematic on how to plumb it in. I would like to connect to my MaxBrake to mimic the slider since the MB is below the dash. Anyone have schematic?
