We frequently driveway surf at my brother in laws in Rio Vista (south of Cleburne) and have never explored Ft. Worth or Dallas. It was time to start. bigjim Posted April 5, 2018 Report Share Posted April 5, 2018 Lots of stuff to see in that area. I always liked the FW zoo better than Dallas one. I liked I think it was / is called Log Cabin near the zoo. I liked Angelo's bbq on White Settlement for the bbq and the real cold beer. There will be plenty of good bbq in both Big D and Cowtown. There are a fair no. of campgrounds in reasonble distance. The only one I have used is a Corp of Eng. park Benbrook Lake sw of FW. Cedar Hill SP is cool just sw of Dallas.
