rbertalotto
I'm on a February cross country trip and needed a quiet way to heat my 20' Toy Hauler. I wrote a short article with photos on my web site. You can read it here: http://rvbprecision.com/rv-projects/solar-install-grey-wolf-19rr-toy-hauler.html How you enjoy it! 2gypsies
Your link goes to solar and other installs.... well done, by the way. Here's the link to the catalytic heater install in case anyone has problems finding it: http://rvbprecision.com/shooting/olympian-wave-6-propane-heater-review.html We used this type of heater for 16 years of full-timing and absolutely loved it... quiet, steady, economical heat! DuneElliot
I've enjoyed my Wave 8 but found that it hasn't been enough to keep my 27ft 5W warm when it gets into the 40s 2007 Keystone Springdale 245 FWRLL-S (modified) 2000 F-250 7.3L SRW Cody and Kye, border collie extraordinaires Latest departure date: 10/1/2017 Find us at www.nomadicpawprints.wordpress.com
hiljoball
I would strongly recommend that you have a working CO detector if using any combustion heater in your rig. We used a Wave 3 for a number of years and it was a great solution for boondocking. John JohnTitanium 29EX 29/34 Fifthwheel
SWharton
We had Waves for decades and switched over to Mr. Heater. Works so much better, especially if we turn on its fan. Ours has 3 heat settings and we generally run on the lowest with the fan. What finally changed us over was we needed a pad replacement on our Wave, previously we did it ourselves, now the entire unit needed to be shipped in for a replacement. Big hassle to do this when we are traveling. No pad replacement with Mr. Heater.
