porky69
Are you looking for height to top of frame? It depends on how the truck was spec'ed. Varies with frame size, suspension model, tire size, etc. There is no such thing as a general "specification". Doesn't matter if it is Freightliner, Volvo, Kenworth, Mack, etc.
Star Dreamer
When we did our bed design , I show that top of our frame rails on our Century was 38-1/2". That is with 22.5 tires. I believe all the volvos I saw were in the 40-41" range. GlennWest
Ok. Thought I had a problem. My hitch is lower than it suppose to be. May have to raise it. 2003 Teton Grand Freedom towed with 2006 Freightliner Century 120 across the beautiful USA welding pipe.https://photos.app.goo.gl/O32ZjgzSzgK7LAyt1
phoenix2013
If you need an inch or two I would adjust the suspension valve. It will not affect the shaft angle that much, the distance from the axle to where the hitch is probably 4-5 feet and it's an arc so you will not be moving the suspension valve as much as the back of the frame in the hitch area.
