Kansas City MO RV Parks

Recommended Posts

I grew up in Kansas and still have a lot of relatives there but seldom spend much time in the KC area. A good place to look for RV parks there, or most anywhere is the RV Park Reviews website. Go in there and do a search using the suburbs near where you want to stay.

We've stayed at Basswood Resort (http://www.basswoodresort.com/camping_rv.aspx) several times. Pros: pleasant staff, beautiful terrain (though hilly if that's a problem), cable TV, nice hiking trails, fishing lake, some big-rig friendly sites, good pizza. Cons: A tad expensive, sites can get muddy, under flight path for KC airport.

When I go home to KC I stay at Worlds of Fun, it is a Good Sams park. Prices are in the thirties all are full hook up 30 & 50 amp and pull through sites are 100 feet long and you can get discounted park tickets. It is a nice clean park with a nice swimming pool that has a lifeguard on duty.
