ANG0225
Does anybody have a good lead on RV parks in the KC Missouri area? Will be there about 3 months.
Kirk W
I grew up in Kansas and still have a lot of relatives there but seldom spend much time in the KC area. A good place to look for RV parks there, or most anywhere is the RV Park Reviews website. Go in there and do a search using the suburbs near where you want to stay. trailertraveler
Don't know how long they will let you stay, but take a look at Fleming Park, Blue Springs Lake, Lake Jacomo and Longview Lake. They are county run campgrounds on the Missouri side.
ronmon
Walnut Grove on Johnson Dr in Merriam KS is small, reasonable & well kept. South of downtown off of I35. If the location would work, wr were there 3 mos a few years ago

Bill LeMosy
We've stayed at Basswood Resort (http://www.basswoodresort.com/camping_rv.aspx) several times. Pros: pleasant staff, beautiful terrain (though hilly if that's a problem), cable TV, nice hiking trails, fishing lake, some big-rig friendly sites, good pizza. Cons: A tad expensive, sites can get muddy, under flight path for KC airport. 2001 Volvo 610 HDT with Smart Car bed and ET Junior hitch 2007 New Horizons Summit 38 2013 Smart for Two 2012 Easy Racer Tour Easy recumbent bicycle "There is no path. N TX Dave
When I go home to KC I stay at Worlds of Fun, it is a Good Sams park. Prices are in the thirties all are full hook up 30 & 50 amp and pull through sites are 100 feet long and you can get discounted park tickets. It is a nice clean park with a nice swimming pool that has a lifeguard on duty.
