RV_
I have the same model as this. These are brand new and I can say that the system is terrific as a laptop or as a tablet.. It even has an Ethernet full size port. USB 3 the works. Mine has the Z3995 SoC and 4 GB of RAM but the 64/2GB systems are fine with that processor which are the specs of my wife's Dell Venue11 Pro. It even has a hard drive bay in the base in which I put a 120 GB SSD I had laying around. The laptop format when you have the tablet attached is one of the if not the best, full size keyboards I have use on any laptop. 11.6" screen Free upgrade to 10 and it takes 10 fine as I upgraded mine to 10 without any issues. Brand new on eBay for $229.99 here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Asus-Transformer-Pad-11-6-2-In-1-Touchscreen-Z3775-2GB-RAM-64GB-SSD-W8-1/331765683334?rmvSB=true&ul_ref=http%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F711-53200-19255-0%252F1%253Fff3%253D4%2526pub%253D5575069831%2526toolid%253D10001%2526campid%253D5337590632%2526customid%253D%2526mpre%253Dhttp%25253a%25252f%25252fwww.ebay.com%25252fitm%25252fAsus-Transformer-Pad-11-6-2-In-1-Touchscreen-Z3775-2GB-RAM-64GB-SSD-W8-1%25252f331765683334%2526srcrot%253D711-53200-19255-0%2526rvr_id%253D977271940820 For a full desktop replacement I hook up a powered USB 3.0 hub with 4 ports. Then I can plug in external drives/drive docks. I would not put a hard drive in any system as a second drive to an SSD because the biggest plus for SSDs after speed is their stability when accidentally dropped or bumped while it is in use. Even though I love this unit, and am selling my used unit for a bit more because of the RAM and processor and extra SSD in the base expansion drive slot. I've also done biz with Adorama several times in the past and they are very reputable. However, I have no affiliation with them of any kind. I just like to pass along sales I would buy had I not already had the item, one like it, or better. I'm only selling mine because I just bought a Surface Pro 3 new with 128/64. Otherwise it was a keeper.7-8 hours per charge with the base attached in normal use. Another hour with tablet only. As usual YMMV. Caveat Emptor.
