This is what you posted which is a link to the PhotoBucket web page, not the image.

The link to the image looks like this, NO HTML / URL and ends with the .jpg:

Tried my instructions again, they still work:

open photobucket and select picture
right-click the image and open in new tab
Copy the URL from the beginning to the .jpg
On the forum click the little tree icon (image is the tool-tip) and paste the URL in the pop-up

Curious, so I'm gonna play too.

Opened PhotoBucket by clicking on picture in first post.

Clicked on "Direct" button on right hand side. This pastes to the clipboard, same as Stanley's right-click, copy above.

Click the "Image" button in the reply window. This button won't appear until the cursor is in the reply window. Right click and paste in the pop-up, select ok.

It makes this happen. \/ \/ \/ \/ \/

That works most of the time but sometimes PhotoBucket will add a short trailing section to the URL something like /?r3=235r that confuses the IP Board software which is why I suggest using the "new tab" method and only copying the URL from the start to the .jpg at or near the end of the link.

You could delete the trailing data after pasting it intp the forum's pop-up box but with a bit higher chance of fat fingering it.

Interesting observation. I've never worried about posting thumbnails, shoving full-size pics on and letting the software re-size for me. When I was playing above, I clicked on the pic in Roger's original post. It took me to his PhotoBucket page with the pic on it. Now, when I click on either his, or mine, it opens as a thumbnail, as does yours, Stanley. I don't play with thumbnails much, so not sure whats changed.

I have been wrong before, I'll probably be wrong again.
