Kirk W
Welcome to the forums! Good to have you with us. They have a pretty good reputation. Since the RV is now 8 years old the condition is everything but since you are certified to inspect it, go for it. Good travelin !...............KirkFull-time 11+ years...... nana25k
If its well cared for and maintained then your Cummins will run for years. As for Monaco they have a great reputation. The 2006 thru 2008 years had some issues due to rushed production but I would think they are probable worked out by now. Do your due diligence and have the chassis inspected by a reputable diesel shop with oil & tranny fluid analysis. Call Monaco and they will send you a build sheet, possible schematics etc. Their tech support people are very knowledgeable and so helpful. 63belv
Monaco did have some frame issues, trailing arms plus other things. Be sure check recalls on NHTSA. When Navistar owned them they did not take on the liabilities so recalls were not covered.
